1. New York City

NYC is probably the most obvious 4th of July destination, but it’s also one of the best. You can go to a baseball game during the day or sightsee throughout the city. With so much to do to keep you busy during the day until the fantastic firework display at night, it’s no wonder why NYC is a top destination for the 4th of July.

2. Las Vegas

Las Vegas is a top destination just about any time of the year, but the airfare actually tends to be a little bit cheaper on the 4th of July due to the hot temperatures. The affordability of a plane ticket to Las Vegas is what makes Vegas a top destination for the 4th of July. Sure it might be hot, but there are plenty of indoor activities to enjoy such as shopping, eating at some of the best restaurants or seeing a spectacular show!

3. Lake Tahoe

For the people that actually want to relax on the 4th of July, they should consider Lake Tahoe for a possible destination. You can go boating during the day and check out all the amazing views of this peaceful lake then relax and enjoy the firework show called “Lights on the Lake” at night.

4. West Palm Beach

West Palm Beach is a great 4th of July destination if you’re looking to stay in the state of Florida. Not only is a vacation to WPB on the 4th of July cheap, it’s also filled with fun things to do. There’s the party-like atmosphere, great food, casinos, music festivals, barbecuing in the park, and amazing firework shows. For the firework shows you can even take a ride on one of the steamboat cruises that will take you out on the water allowing passengers to enjoy the firework display up close.
