The affordability of a plane ticket to Las Vegas is what makes Vegas a top destination for the 4th of July. Sure it might be hot, but there are plenty of indoor activities to enjoy such as shopping, eating at some of the best restaurants or seeing a spectacular show!
3. Lake Tahoe
For the people that actually want to relax on the 4th of July, they should consider Lake Tahoe for a possible destination. You can go boating during the day and check out all the amazing views of this peaceful lake then relax and enjoy the firework show called “Lights on the Lake” at night.

West Palm Beach is a great 4th of July destination if you’re looking to stay in the state of Florida. Not only is a vacation to WPB on the 4th of July cheap, it’s also filled with fun things to do. You can watch musical performances at many of the 4th of July celebrations, as well as take your kids to many of the gaming areas WPB has to offer! After a long day, you can end the night the way every Floridian would want to, and that’s watching the firework show on the beach.

For the firework shows you can even take a ride on one of the steamboat cruises that will take you out on the water allowing passengers to enjoy the firework display up close.
